initz software package provides Handles the switching of various initialization files of emacsen, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install initz
initz is installed in your system.
Make ensure the initz package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep initz *
You will get with initz package name, version, architecture and description in a table
